About Pokopia Companion

A free fan tool, built with love for the Pokémon community.

This website was made out of love for Pokémon. While playing Pokémon Pokopia, I kept finding myself searching the game over and over for information that was in there, but was scattered across menus and never cross-referenced in one place: which habitat needs which item, which Pokémon lives where, what materials I still need for the build I am planning.

So I built this companion. The goal is simple: help the Pokémon community complete the game faster, together, by putting everything you need to know in one place. Searchable, filterable, cross-linked.

I have used Pokopia Companion alongside my own playthrough of Pokémon Pokopia, and it has genuinely helped me uncover habitats and find Pokémon I would otherwise have missed. If it does the same for you, the project has done its job.

Sources & references

The game itself: Pokémon Pokopia by Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company. The original and authoritative source. Always cross-checked against in-game data wherever possible.
Item and habitat data: Sourced from in-game content of Pokémon Pokopia. Reference cross-checked against community resources.
Pokémon sprites: PokéAPI. Hosting Nintendo's Pokémon HOME official artwork.
General Pokémon reference: Serebii and Bulbapedia. Used as fact-checking references, not as data sources.

Privacy

Your data is your data. Here's exactly what happens with your progress:

Without signing in, your progress is stored only in this browser's localStorage. Nothing leaves your device.
If you sign in, your save is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) so it syncs across your devices. Your email is used for sign-in only. We don't email you, we don't share anything with third parties, and we don't sell anything.
When you sign out, the local cache on the current browser is wiped. Your cloud save stays intact — signing back in restores it. This keeps shared computers private.
Anonymous pageview counts. Vercel tells me how many visitors land on each page. No cookies, no profile-building, no third-party sharing.
Banner ads & cookies. On wide desktop screens, the right side of the page can show a single banner ad from Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to measure ad performance. Until you accept the cookie banner, no ad scripts are loaded at all. You can decline; the site still works fully, just without ads. To change your mind later, clear this site's storage in your browser and the banner will appear again.
Your save data is never shared. Ads can't see what you've caught, planned, or saved. Your progress lives in your browser (or your Firebase account if signed in), separate from anything an advertiser can read.
