Getting started with Pokopia Companion

Everything you need to know to start using Pokopia Companion, whether you are a new player or have been playing Pokopia for a while and just found the site.
What is Pokopia Companion?
Pokopia Companion is a free fan-made tool for Pokémon Pokopia. It brings together everything you need in one place: a searchable Habitat Dex, a Pokédex, a build planner, a shopping list, a roommate advisor, and more.
You do not need an account to use it. All your progress saves automatically.
Guest mode or sign in?
When you first visit, you are in guest mode. Your progress saves to your browser. It works perfectly for one device.
If you want your progress to sync across your phone, tablet, and computer, create a free account or sign in with Google. Your save transfers to the cloud the moment you sign in for the first time.
Sign-out tip: if you use a shared computer, signing out wipes the local save on that device. Your cloud save stays safe and comes back when you sign in again.
Where to start
The best starting point depends on where you are in the game.
Just started playing? Open the Habitat Dex and mark off the habitats you have already built. You get a live count of what is done and what is left.
Trying to catch Pokémon? Use the Pokédex to track which Pokémon you have caught. Filter by specialty, sort by area, and tap any row to see which habitats it lives in.
Planning your next build? Add habitats to the Build Queue. The Shopping List then shows you every material you need across all your queued builds combined. No more counting items by hand.
Building a house? Head to Roommates to find the best compatible Pokémon to live together. The advisor scores every candidate by climate, favourites, type, and specialty.

Does it work on your phone?
Yes. Pokopia Companion is installable on your home screen. On Android, tap the install prompt in Chrome. On iOS, tap Share and then Add to Home Screen. The core tools work offline too.
What syncs between devices?
If you are signed in, the following syncs across all your devices:
- Checked habitats in the Habitat Dex
- Caught Pokémon in the Pokédex
- Your Build Queue
- Your saved houses
- Your To-do list
- Your assigned Pokémon areas
Filters, sort order, and search terms are session-only. They reset when you reload.
