Field guide
One gathering trip for everything
By the time you are building several habitats, working through a house kit or two, and trying to stock specific gifts for your residents, you have multiple lists running in parallel. The Shopping List pulls them all into one place.
This guide covers where the Shopping List gets its data from, what each tab is for, and how to check off materials as you go.
The gathering problem scales with your ambitions
A single habitat with six items is manageable. Four habitats with overlapping materials, plus two kit recipes, plus a list of gifts for three different Pokémon? That is a lot of cross-referencing for what should be one trip into the world.
The root issue is that Pokopia shows you each project in isolation. The habitat recipe shows what that habitat needs. The kit recipe shows what that kit needs. Nothing in the game adds it all up and tells you: to complete everything you are currently working on, you need exactly this much of everything.
That is the only job the Shopping List has. It reads what you have planned, what you have pinned, what you have saved, and produces one combined total. Gather from that list and you cover every project in one session.
Five tabs, five sources of truth
The Shopping List has five tabs. Each covers a different kind of planned work. You can use them separately or use the All tab for a combined view before heading out.
- AllEvery material from every section combined and deduplicated. Read-only. Use it for a quick total count before heading out.
- HabitatsMaterials from your Build Queue, grouped per habitat. Tap a card to open a full-screen checklist for that habitat only.
- Pokémon HousesItems recommended for your saved houses, grouped by house. Tap a card to check off items and track crafting materials.
- Build KitsMaterials from your pinned kits. Only pinned kits show here. Tap a card to check off what you have gathered.
- ItemsItems you added manually from the catalogue. Useful for anything that does not belong to a specific project.
Checking off as you gather
Tap any compact card in the Habitats, Pokémon Houses, or Build Kits tabs and it opens a full-screen checklist for that group. Each material row has a checkbox. Tick it when you have enough.
In the Habitats tab, ticking a row writes directly to that habitat's checklist in the Build Queue. You do not have to go back to the Build Queue to confirm it: the tick here and the tick there are the same record. Once all rows are checked, the habitat shows a green Ready to build badge instead of a checklist card.
In the Build Kits tab, ticking a material marks it as fully gathered in your kit progress. Same sync, same principle. An Open in build kits link in each kit card takes you directly to that kit if you want to see the full stepper view instead.
Check all for speed
Every full-screen panel has a Check all button at the top that ticks every remaining row at once. Useful when you gathered everything for a habitat in one run and want to close it out quickly.
Adding things manually
Not everything fits into the habitat queue or the kit list. Sometimes you want to stock a particular item for future builds, or you spotted something in the shop you want to remember to buy. The manual Items tab is for those cases.
Find any item in the Items catalogue and tap Add to shopping list. It lands in the Items tab of the Shopping List, separate from the automatically generated sections. Tap the checkbox when you have it and it comes off the list.
The All tab for a quick total
If you want to see everything from every section in one flat view before a big gathering session, the All tab deduplicates and sums across all five sources. It is read-only, so checking off happens in the individual tabs, not here.
Plan your builds. Open the list. Go gather.
Queue your habitats, pin your kits, then open the Shopping List once and let it tell you exactly what one trip needs.
