Tracking what no tool can predict
The build queue, the shopping list, the Pokédex — all of them work from structured data. Habitats you have queued, Pokémon you have caught, materials you are tracking. They cover a lot. But Pokopia always has loose ends that do not fit neatly into any of those boxes.
The to-do list is for those. Type it in, tick it off. No structure required.
Pokopia always has more loose ends than you can hold in your head
Some things in Pokopia require timing. A Pokémon that only appears at night, or only when it is raining. An event shop that closes in two days. A habitat location you want to test when you find the right terrain.
None of those fit into the build queue. There is no checkbox for “wait for rain, then go back to Bleak Beach.” You either remember it, write it somewhere else, or forget it until the event is over.
The kinds of things players typically end up noting down:
- Remember to check the event shop before it closes
- Catch a Zubat at night for the cave habitat
- Ask my friend which area works best for the Dry builds
- Try that habitat near the waterfall, the angle might count as high-up
- Wait for rain and revisit the Bleak Beach east side
Add, reorder and check off
The To-do list is a free-text checklist. Type anything in the box at the top and press Enter to add it. Tap the checkbox to complete it. Tap the pencil to edit the title or add a description.
Open items are drag-reorderable. Press and hold on a row until it lifts, then drag it where you want. Reordering only works on open items, not on completed ones — the done section has its own ordering independent of your open list.
Deleted something by mistake? An Undo button appears in the toast for a few seconds after a delete. Tap it and the item comes back at exactly the position it was in.
Done section stays out of the way
Completed items drop into a collapsible Done section at the bottom, collapsed by default. Your open tasks stay at the top without the finished ones cluttering them. When the done list gets long, Clear done removes all of them in one tap after a confirmation.
Link a to-do to a habitat
If a to-do is connected to a specific habitat you are working toward, you can link them. Tap the pencil on any item and choose Link a habitat to pick one from the list.
Once linked, the to-do row shows a chip with the habitat's sprite and ID. The chip also shows live gather progress: how many of the habitat's items you have checked off versus the total. If you have not started gathering yet, the chip shows nothing; if all items are gathered, it shows green.
Below the chip, a button lets you add that habitat to the Build Queue without leaving the to-do list. If it is already queued, the button becomes a link to open it in the queue directly.
One link per to-do, habitats only
Each to-do can be linked to one habitat. There is no link to a Pokémon or an item — those are the shopping list's job. For tasks that span multiple habitats, use one to-do per habitat, or keep it as free text and link nothing.
Saved here, available everywhere
To-do items save to this device immediately. Once you are signed in, they sync across every device you use: the same list on desktop, phone and tablet. The app is installable as a PWA, so the to-do list works offline too — add items while you are playing and they will sync when you reconnect.
Habitat gather progress on the linked chips updates live from the same saved state as the Build Queue. If you check off a material in the queue on your phone, the chip on the linked to-do on your desktop reflects it the next time that page syncs.
If it does not fit anywhere else, it goes here.
Write it down before you forget it, link a habitat if it is relevant, and tick it off when you are done.
