Connect with other Pokopia trainers

Search by username on the Trainer Hub page. Type a username in the search box and the app checks whether that trainer exists. If it does, a Follow button appears. One tap and they are on your list.

The following section below the search box shows everyone you follow. Each username is a link to their trainer profile, where you can see their Pokédex and habitat progress at a glance.

The feed below your following list shows the latest posts from everyone you follow. Each post shows the Pokémon they caught or the habitats they completed since their last update. Pokémon appear with their sprites so you can see exactly what they found.

Posts are shared automatically when a trainer updates their progress and enough time has passed since their last post. Trainers can also post manually from their dashboard at any time.

Each post has three reaction buttons: ❤️ heart, ⚡ lightning, and 👏 clapping. Tap any of them to add your reaction. Tap again to remove it. Reaction counts are shown next to the emoji so the trainer can see how many people responded.

Reactions need a Trainer Pass. The trainer whose post you react to gets a notification in the bell at the top of the page.

The comment field sits below each post. Type your message and press Post. Comments appear in order below the post, with your username and a timestamp. Other readers can react to individual comments with the same ❤️ ⚡ 👏 set.

Comments are also visible on the trainer's profile page under each post, so they are not buried in the feed once the post scrolls out of view.

To bring someone into a conversation, type their username with an @ in front: @misty, for example. The app renders it as a tappable link to their profile, and they get a notification that you mentioned them.

You can mention multiple people in one comment. Each one gets their own notification. Mentioning yourself has no effect, and mentioning a username that does not exist just renders as plain text.

The bell icon in the top right shows when something has happened on your posts. It lights up red when there is something new. Tap it to open the notification list.

Each notification shows who did what and when, with a “Trainer Hub” label so you can tell trainer notifications apart from Cloud Island activity at a glance. Trainer Hub notifications are tappable and take you directly to the post they refer to.
